Family zoo trip... April 2007...

Yeah, the zoo - I'm over it!!!
The family including cousins Taryn, Kylee and Garret, my Auntie Megan, Grandma and Grayson of course checking out the stingrays!!!
A pretty cool cucumber considering the close company!!!

The Radtke cousins!! What a wild bunch! We had a lot of fun!!!

Here we are again! Can you see Grayson peeking?!?

Right after a grouchy moment, Grayson stops to reflect his bib, he LOVES his Grandma!!

I guess it's safe to say Taryn is not yet four feet tall, but Grayson's cousins are all growing like a bunch o'weeds!!! Especially Garrett!!

Can't forget Miss Kylee either!!

Baby Grayson's First Renaissance Faire

Sooooo... its what we do for a hobby, and I think its pretty fun... But hadn't been quite sure whether or not baby would be ready for it at only four months, so we just went half the day both days BUT we did it!! And had a lot of fun too... Will be catching up on his events now that I have a better idea of how to use this program and add pictures and what not... So will have to hit everyone with an email to have them check these out... YEAH!!!!!!!!! So enjoy Gray's first renaissance event, the pics are well... a month old but as I said more to come and we will get caught up!!
Baby's munchkin hat!!! He's a gnome!! Naw, just a biggins cap, very period, very stylish for the time period don't you know! Has to be high fashion?!?!!!

Mama and baby Gray enjoy a nice quiet moment in the shade... May was a little bit warm, so baby and I were a little dressed down... Actually this faire was more of a "fantasy" theme being PIRATES!!! So the garb in general is a little inaccurate, especially on my part... sure made nursing baby at faire a lot easier than wearing a bodyce or gown though for sure!!!

Its a KISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! Who could resist that face?!? And you can see our stylish camp tent in the back too, place to crash and avoid the hot Fresno sun!! ;)

Daddy cannot wait to get into that action too!! Grayson wasn't quite diggin' daddy's duds tho... Leather isn't all that comfortable...

This is literally the calm before the storm and the next picture didn't come out too well when Grayson decided to let us have it, very blurry, very very angry... It was getting pretty warm, so we were wearing clothes that were wet down along with the head wraps that were equally soaked and having a nip of water BUT... that was not going over too well when we first tried it... He's getting ready to "release the Kracken"... Yet one more nickname... EEK!!

Now that we are into the swing of things, he decided that being wet wasn't so horrible afterall... pretty much everyone in the camp decided to join us after that too... Well, maybe I made them join us... I'm kinda a supermama these days...
Now I know what to expect in the future for Grayson from the moment he's ready to pick up a stick... YIKES!! Well, at least dad is pretty good at this sort of thing, he'll learn from one of the best! HOORAY!!

What fun we've had by the end of the day!! I hope you all enjoyed our pictures from baby's first faire! Love to all!! Curtis, Tristan and Grayson!!! HOOOOOORAY!!!!!!!

Update is upcoming... I hope!!

Well, it's official, my boy is getting REALLY big!! At his four month check-up, he weighed in at 16 pounds (lost a pound that week being sick) and nearly 28 inches in length - putting him, well off the chart. His midget mama at 61 inches in length is pretty amazed... I know we have some tall genes somewhere on my sid and of course Daddy is pretty tall at nearly 6'2"!!! AND, recent news I managed a 4.0 in my third nursing semester and I did it as a new mama (while working graveyards - YUCK!)!! YIKES!! Meanwhile, Dadyy is proud of his family and has been getting kudos at work for "removals" when not getting nearly sprayed down with pesticides in the local farmer's fields, eeeek!!

Anyhow! I have LOTS of pictures, I SHOULD have the time once I have, yeah you guessed it, my summer course done too... TWELVE days right hot off the 3rd semester and its almost done!! I actually have one more that's online June through August and a third class that is fifteen days in July! Whew!! Let's just hope the grades stay high too, need those A's to get outta the RN program early and work the same amount of hours I am now, with twice the time available to my family AND a pay raise!! Yippee!!

Love to all, I know we don't nearly get in touch that much with everyone but hopefully the future will be more kind and it's in the works! Love Tristan K!!
